Build the knowledge, skills and mindset for safe on set gun handling
Service Description
Learn the ropes of proper gun wrangling for film and TV in this hands-on, in-person training program. For 8 full hours, we will learn together with other film professionals, the how-to's and best practices for safe handling of firearms used in entertainment productions. The program is broken down into 4 modules. We will cover essential "real world" safe gun handling; in-depth procedures for best on set practices; hands-on learning, complete with a live camera and monitor and a thorough analyses of the very rare but notable failings with prop guns on productions. You will finish the program with a far deeper understanding of the process of "wrangling" firearms in story telling, have a better ability to identify "inert" versus potentially dangerous guns and a working knowledge of where the standard safety processes were side-stepped in previous failings.
